Another great example of amazing skills in building big temples with huge monoliths that fit perfectly into each others and look like they have been just made yesterday. A part from the ones that haven't been excavated yet...but probably we are just too spoiled after seeing the restored temples in Angkor. Here as well you can see how perfectly aligned and accurately positioned the temples are, pointing to the rising sun during equinoxes and solstices. Cool!
A fantastic half day in the first Inca ruins we have seen and the bright sun....no wonder it was the god they worshiped.
The small minibus managed to squeeze 19 people in and make it back to La Paz without any trouble while taking in the sights of the countryside and the city.
