We landed in Darwin at 4am, stayed in the airport for a while and headed to town at around 8am. After checking in the hostel (75AUD for the double room with shared bathroom), we had breakfast (included) and smiled at the fact that we were actually preparing our toast and tea ourselves.
In the price was also included the swimming pool and a bunch of quite odd people. Nice.
The bed was very comfortable and we crashed for a few hours. Woke up and went to the shop to get some food for dinner (yes, we slept all day!) in this big supermarket with known products and forgotten prices.... welcome to Australia! :)
