After completing our winery tour, we ended up in Bunbury - one of the towns we zipped past on our way down to the surf. Given the best oppourtunity to try my luck with the fishing rod as the town is home to the southern hemespheres longest jetty at 2k long!

Even more impressive than the jetty was the fact that i managed to catch five fish! *woop* am subscribing to fisherman's weekly as soon as i get home!

Watched Ice Age 2 at the cinema that evening which just cracked my up! Then slept...yep you guessed it...in a car park next to the beach. Woke up the next morning and had a shave in the local restaurant toilets :P then had a swim and cracked on back to Perth to drop the van off.

sense of humour failure?!
Hi me darlin'
Blimey! You've gone from writer's block to verbal diorrhea - all in one day!! I didn't expect my complaint about lack of blogs to have such an immediate effect! Enjoying the read.
You sound a bit grumpy in places. Do I detect a slight sense of humour failure? Or is it just a case of two's company.....? Maybe the lack of sleep is getting to you. I guess the three of you are seeing each other, 'warts and all' now - bit like marriage really (without the sex?!) - only the honeymoon is over!!
Anyway - sounds like you're still enjoying yourselves and having some great experiences.
Hope journey to Sydney goes ok, and that some serious (?) work is forthcoming when you get there.
With lots of love, Mum xxx
