I first came to Rome 2 years ago. Since then I had said Rome was my favorite city in all of Europe. Now that I have traveled to so many other cities, I'm not sure it is #1 on my list but nevertheless it's still beautiful here for my second visit.
Yesterday: Pompeii and Naples, Italy.
It took me a total of 6 hours on a train to get to Pompeii and back to Rome but it was worth it!To be in such a well-preserved Roman city... I was really able to get an idea of what life was like back then.
Naples, Italy.
is known to have the best pizza in the world and it was pretty damn good.
The city though, is quite dirty. Apparently their landfills are full, which is blatantly obvious because there are piles of garbage everywhere!
Few days ago: Parma, Italy
You may ask, why Parma? 1 painting. Yes, I paid more for a flight and had to take a 5 hour train to continue my trip, I wasn't even sure the painting was definitely there! But when I laid eyes on the painting, it was all worth it.
