Having finshed work (with £15 from a random customer and best wishes for 'looking after the little black babies'[!]) I've had a lot more time on my hands. Time that I've quickly filled with goodbye phonecalls/ coffees/ drinks, but there are a few spare minutes here and there nevertheless. My blood pressure dropped several notches when I finally recieved my visa last week, and I'm fully stocked up on £160 worth of antimalarials, so no worries there.
Now I'm better organised I've got the chance to just enjoy the anticipation. I'm finding that my days are weirdly normal, though, as if I should feel somehow different now that it's only 3sleeps away! I thought that by this stage, every minute would be spent doing something Ghana- related, when in fact mostly things just plod on as normal. I'm sure that come Thursday my thirst for excitement and change will be satisfied, when I'm affronted with the Ghanaian heat, customs and food. I'll let you know!
Wish me luck...(oh, and the strength to lift my backpack!)
