Our 2nd day in Rome and it's of to the Vatican City. We arrive about 9.00am for a tour starting at 9.45am of St Peter's Basilica don't leave until after the Vatican Museum tour about 5.15pm. In between tours we were able to go inside and to the top of the dome. The museum tour although
2-3hrs doesn't allow time to really see all there is in the various galleries, rooms, displays courtyard, Raphael's rooms and ending in the Sistine Chapel.
There are no npics of the Sistine Chapel as no photography allowed and no flash photography is allowed in St Peter's Basilica so some photos are a bit dodge.
After saying bye to the pope we almost ran to get to the Pantheon before it closed. Another amazing building, but looks like it needs some TLC on the outside.
We were also able to see a traffic cop performing his almost dance floor moves as he directed traffic.
