We headed north of Phnom Pehn, following the Mekong River to a small town famous for it's freshwater dolphins. Nothing else to do here as the town itself is small, delapadated and free of the usual tourist amenities. It had a market which was always busy and bizarely the fashion amongst women, whether shopping or at work is to wear pajamas. All kinds of styles, silk, cotton, ones with teddy bears on or ones with flora pattern. Really bizzare.
We had a mate called Mr Heng who sorted out all our digs and motrorbikes etc. He took us to see the dolphins which were nice to see but they didn't really get up close or do any tricks so we never got to see what they looked like in full. We went further up the river and found some rapids where a load of local kids were playing. We had a bit of a splash around our selves and were mocked non stop by the little'uns. That was about it for Kratie.
