The day after Everest we travelled on to Zhangmu in the 4x4's which, for us presented better views overall than Mt. Everest did yesterday. Today was one of my favourite days, I found the drive exhilarating and the views of Mt Everest from this angle stunning.  Imagine driving along the road and seeing a penny farthing . Joff was riding it round the world for the born free organisation. an amazing guy ( but certainly with a few loose screws ), it was our absolute pleasure to meet him.

The Born Free Foundation
Hi there
What a great travel blog and fab pictures!

Can I ask, you mentioned you met an amazing guy called Joff who's traveling for The Born Free Foundation. Any chance I can contact him to wish him well?

All the best for your travels!

Kindest Regards

Angie

Re: The Born Free Foundation
Hi, He can be contacted through his travel website www.pennyfrarthingworldtour.com

I am afraid his website is a bit messy but his photo's once found are a billion times better than mine ( was very, very envious when i saw them and would love to get my hands on a few for the my walls as he took the identical route we did, just better pics)

Anyway like I say it takes a bit to find his actual 'diary' easiest way is to click, Monthly update with pics, then on the blue tabs Journals then just potter and enjoy muddleing through from there !!
The Born free message is loud and clear. He was a lovely Bloke .... bonkers as a box of broken biscuits, clearly doing what he's doing but a wonderfull ambasador for the organisation.

Best Wishes, pass on our regards

Angela xx
