OK, so there were 9 of us for Thanksgiving at Mom's this year! What a surprise...it went from 2 then to 4 then all of a sudden people were showing up left and right. It was great.

I flew into Boston and got a great rental car with Satellite radio...listened to interviews with Depak Chopra and Barbara Walters who each have new books. What a great way to travel the country, listening to interesting people, seeing great countryside, just feeling the movement of going someplace different...yes! more more more

Today everyone is gone, just me and Mom. I went swimming at the Y and am trying to work this afternoon...but would rather take a nap and read a new book I bought at a new bookstore in the tiny but very artsy/intellectual downtown Chester. It's called "The Lace Reader" (the book).

OK, I know this whole trip is called "Heidi's Great Adventure" and I haven't said anything about what that's about...but patience, grasshopper. All will unfold...
