In England we get time off for Easter, which meant a 4 day Easter weekend and that meant I had to go somewhere; and Prague was on sale.

Prague is no longer the super cheap Eastern European destination that it was five years ago, but it's still definitely worth a visit. It’s absolutely thronging with tourists and so we joined them with gusto and here is a mini-montage of my face along with some of the beauties of the city. There were Disney-style castles, Bohemian architecture, and Easter streamers tied all over the city. That is, of course, until you leave the touristy centre of the city (which you know I had to do of course). After renting bicycles at the same place we had started the city wide Prague Pub Crawl the night before we cycled into some of the more Soviet Union style areas before climbing out of the city to get fantastic panoramic views of the capital. I found an abandoned looking Discoland club that was not abandoned after all and I danced the morning away with my new best friend who is featured in the middle photo below. He wasn’t the greatest dancer, more the strong and silent type with the nerdiest t-shirt ever. And yes, those are lego-pimples on his face.
