Where I stayed
Went riding. Felt like crap - no legs, no lungs, no fun. Then reminded myself this was my last ride in Virginia, and that I'd better enjoy it, damn it! And with that, I did.
Turned around in New Castle - had no legs to climb anything higher than flat. Our little group made its way back to camp, and all of a sudden, I was having fun. Didn't want it to end...
Got back, packed, and had lunch with the gang. Then we all assembled to say goodbye to Cowgirl.
Drove up Potts Mountain. It offered a very fitting closure. The drive up was very cool. The drive down was exhilarating - and not as scary as on the bike, I might add.
Kept driving through the mountains of VA and WV, took a wrong turn and went long, but eventually arrived in Pittsburgh. Debbie was there already, and we had dinner, then spent the evening reminiscing and on Facebook.
Ending too fast...
