Houses and Gardens of San Miguel de Allende

On Sunday we went on the famed House and Garden tour, which meets at the Biblioteca Publica-a central meeting place for expats. It was insanely crowded, due to the holiday tourists-over 400 people! We got to see some amazing houses, though.

Here's the first, slightly out of town, above the city.

The second place had great traditional décor.














And a huge garden with bougainvilla exploding everywhere and a fountain.
















The third was our favorite.















And had four different levels surrounding a courtyard.

And then it was time for some helado de petalos rosas y fresa!
