It's nerly the end....but before heading back to a hectic life in London, i'm going back to my roots, to my parents villages in India...I haven't been 'back home' for about 16 years....I was very excited and wondered how much was the same? Did it all look the same? Would i recognize people????

I arrived in Delhi after a delayed journey...I'd been in Delhi 7 years go when i traveled India...things were still the same..although the taxi driver didn't try  and rip me off?! On the way to my hotel I saw an accident involving a truck and a cow..needless to say the truck looked worse off..then in the pouring rain i see an elephant walking along the road!!! welcome to India i think.....
 
Anyway the next day I leave for the Punjab....for home.....Not seen any of my family for 14 months.....When i eventually arrived there were many people waiting for us..all saying hello to me......of course i had no idea who anyone was!

! It was so great seeing all my family after so long and yes there were a few tears...mainly form me!

I was there for my cousins wedding was very cool...except for the rain! Never been to a wedding in India before...pure craziness..but it is India.....

Oh how i love India..the crazy things you see..the smells...the tastes....the colours..the people.....I'd forgotten how much i loved being in India......especially the crazy questions you get from people....like.."do you get fresh milk in England?"

It's a shame i didn't have much time....but next time.....India, i'll be back very soon....(Oh and they didn't me married off!!)
