Meg and i spent a long weekend (2/25-3/1) on Oahu for her friend's wedding. Oahu was a completely different island than the Big Island. The city of Waikiki is so "commercialize" and "touristy" than any city on the Bis Island. It's hard to believe that a city like that can exist in the middle of the ocean. Parts of Oahu are also very green and off the commercialized road. Much of the TV series "Lost" is filmed here.

We did get the chance to hike (Maunawili Trail) some of the lush forest and stop to play in a waterfall pool. The waterfall offered some cliff diving. And of course, i participated. The climb to the spot was a little hairy, but do-able.

The wedding ceremony was very nice and also very SHORT. The first wedding i've been to that was on a beach. It was kinda cool. Congrats to the bride and groom. And thanks for the Pupu platters.
