When I die and my life flashes before my eyes, I hope all those special moments that I have forgotten in my life pass before me.  I will have spent my life reliving the ones that I remember, so it's the ones that have passed by so quickly that I forget them the instant they pass, that I want to replay.

I have danced with a King.  I have been entertained by princes and been shopping with a princess.   I'm staying at the Royal Compound at Kerambitan in Bali for the past 3 nights and will be here til the 1st.  The king and the whole family now jokingly call me thier cousin.  I'm always around and everyone loves to take me places.  I am the guest of honour at the ceremonies and dances.  Almost nightly a Gamelan band plays and there's something going on.  There's so much to see and do!  There's the odd tourist here and there but I am the only one staying at the compound.  The children of the village treat me like an alien.  I don't know how often the see a white person.  Last
night, before the procession and dinner, the village kids were hanging around the outside of the compound waiting for the action to start.  I was dressed in traditional balinese dress and the kids were all looking at me.  I crouched down and started singing "Old MacDonald".  When I would make the animal noises, the kids would let out a riot of laughter.  It was so much fun!  Yesterday, I went to the hot springs on  the back of a motorbike driven by a prince.  I've had so many experiences and have so little time to write about them.  I have a feeling that no one would believe me anyway...

Love,
tin tin
