5 days, 4 nights in hot, sweaty monkey land!
We spent the first half of the trip in the jungle and the second half in the pampas, the waterlogged flood plains of the jungle.
The trip was incredible - lots of jungle walks with a guide who taught us all about the uses of plants for medicinal purposes as well as what you can and canīt eat.
Wildlife we saw included monkeys, alligators, wild pigs, a HUGE tarantula, pink dolphins, macaws, toucans, turtles, an anaconda, a sloth and some massive rodenty pig like things called Capyburas.
We swam with the dolphins, tried to creep up on a herd of about 200 wild pigs, help snakes and I got about 100 mozzie bites on my bum.
