The roads tend to be pretty terrible in Bolivia, especially the narrow, rocky rutted one near La Paz that winds through the mountains with lethal sheer drops off the side. So what better way to spend a rainy Thursday than hurtling down it on a mountain bike.

It�s not actually that dangerous now because they�ve opened a new road which most of the traffic takes. You�ve still got to concentrate hard though as you wheel through the different eco-systems on the way down. One false move and you�re over the edge, never to be seen again!
