After Nickīs sickness, we couldnīt really attempt the Inca Trail hike to MP so we plumped for the easy option of getting the train and the bus instead.

Got up at 5am to get there as the gates opened and the sun came up, only for everything to be shrouded in rain cloud for 4 hours. We sat around in one of the Inca huts taking silly pictures of each other and once the weather started to clear we were able to see the ruins emerge bit by bit until their full glory was revealed. An amazing site, but it wasnīt until we tagged on to a tour and learned about it while walking around it that we really started to appreciate what it was all about.

Havenīt got the pics with me now but youīve probably seen some before anyway...
