We weren't sure we were going to make it, but we were able to scoot from Chicago down to Bloomington IL to see the Fennelly's. We were so happy we could fit this in - and we didn't want to leave. Bloomington is a nice mid-America town, a real throwback, and it was great to spend a day there. Even better was reconnecting with Mark and family. Makes the trip extra special when you can see old friends like Mark and Ted and visit them at their homes. You get to visit with the whole family and see how they live each day.
Always strange to see old friends WITH KIDS - you never imagine that when you are younger. But it is all good, and we were lucky to have such wonderful hosts. Thanks Becky and Virginia, and to Teddy/Danny and Sarah/Tyler/Sophia - the kids already miss you!
We look forward to seeing more friends as we get closer to home.
(Tommy, next time we'll stop in, I promise!)

Thanks for the visit!
We really enjoyed seeing all of you and appreciated you taking the detour to visit us. Thanks for the 'chip' frisbee too - we've had it out on the front sidewalk and enjoy seeing the reactions of people walking by! They look at Sugar and shrug! Sorry to hear you got lost on the way out.
P.S. I'm missing some sausages Kevin - do you know anything about that?
