OK, made it out of Yellowstone without a personal visit from the grizzlies. 2 days of camping with 3 kids and we survived! The kids were very excited, but it was cold and tiring too! So tonight we are at a good hotel in Cody WY, it is nice to be in civilization.
Before we left we rented bikes for a 2-hour spin through geyser country. Patrick loved it, while KG got to tow 70 pounds worth of TT and Krystian up sandy hills (medic! code red!). Then after a bit more scenic driving we arrived in Buffalo Bill Cody country, home of the world's best rodeo (so they say). They do a rodeo every night in the summer, which is something. The kids loved it!
Pretty wiped out but nice to have a break for a night in a decent hotel with a pool and laundry. 2 days without a shower and no coffee in the morning make me even scarier than when I stagger into ISTB3 on Monday mornings!
Row - thanks for the tip to come to Cody. Binh - yes if you notice we are heading east now. First you gotta head north out of Phoenix to get outta the heat!
