We were a bit nervous about renting a motorcycle especially when the attendant said "We'll this one doesn't have quite enough gas to get you to your destination and back and this one has enough gas but no rear vision mirror and the tires need inflating.

However given the lack of motorized vehicles we took our courage in hand, selected the one with enough gas, whipped up to the nearby garage (which was deserted most of the time), inflated the tires and headed off to Cocoa Beach. (also known as Los Bocos).

Once we got beyond the nearby village the road was not paved and had an interesting assortment of potholes which provided quite a challenge for Rod. There was scarcely enough room for 2, so I had quite a rocky ride perched on the back.
