During the hottest part of the day we often spent time at the beach either reading on chairs or chatting to fellow guests underneath the palm trees or in the water. Kayaks, pedalboats, windsurfers and even a Hobiecat were available for our use.
Most days had enough wind for windsurfing but not so much that you couldn't snorkel. We found a couple of small reefs off the beach that we could easily walk out/ or swim to. During the last few days of the holiday we met Peggy and Bill who found another small reef that had quite a large variety of fish.
I found hauling up the sail on the windsurfer to be fairly difficult most days, but Rod was able to manage well except for the last day when the wind was too strong for both of us.
