I'm reserving this page for all the photos I take that I would like to get off my camera, but aren't attached to any specific entry. Just click on the photo album above, and select the picture you would like to see.
I'll keep temporarily updating the space below with pictures I think need an explanation.
Come back to this page often, because I will always be putting crazy junk on it!
More from my floating online album:
There is no escape:
TayTay took me out along Jebel Ali in her car. We stopped by the side of the road, in the so-called desert, and took photos of weird things. Among others, there were a lot of dead dessicated goats lying around. I guess it must be where folks go to slaughter their herds when they move into the city?? Cause how else do you explain hundreds of partially buried goat carcasses?
There were cool rocks too, so I took a picture:
I was also at a beach with TayTay. For some reason, masses of Jellyfish washed up on shore; I'd never seen them around before then. She's scared of them. But I think they are just beautiful:
Dubai Hard Rock Cafe is right next to campus. When I say that, I mean it's really right there; it's a next-door neighbor to us! Can you believe I never once bothered to set foot inside until just a couple of days ago? I went with my roomate, and my friend from Arabic. There's a funny story behind that. My roomate is Iranian; my friend Nathan is from Idaho, very right wing, and believes the US should bomb the crap out of Iran. Now they're going out, or something to that effect. I guess it helps that she's drop-dead gorgeous (it's embarrassing to walk next to her in public). I said, Don't mind me, I'm just the third wheel.
Here we all are below:
I took a picture of this at Fairmont Hotel:
I like this one, so it stays:
Guess what this is...is it a feather? No! It's a cloud!
