Dear Friends,
We arrived in Tel Aviv and took a taxi to the Olive Tree hotel, were we are staying till Monday.  Our first meal in Jerusalem was great.  They have more ways of serving vegetables and salads than I have ever seen.  We spent today finding the Studio Apt. that we will be staying in and walking a bit in the Old City.  Going into the Old City is like going into another world.  We are still tired and expect to be fully on our feet tomorrow.

Glad to see ...
... that you arrived safely! Vegetables and salads ... my kids would hate it but it sounds good to me. Looking forward to reading about your adventures. And seeing pictures perhaps? The next best thing to being there (for non-traveling types like myself)!

Blessings,

When you talk of visiting the Old City, I can almost smell the spices in the open market! And I remember the tree growing up through the middle of your hotel. It really does seem like another world, doesn't it?
I heard on the news about an attack in Tel Aviv. Were you aware of any trouble when you flew in?
I hope all goes well for you both so you can get the most out of your visit!

Giving Thanks
Praise God that you arrived safely! I'd love the veggies so long as they don't include tomatoes (allergic to them). Good luck getting caught up with the jet lag. We are all praying for you!
