"Muy tranquilo," means laid back, and the surf town of Huanchaco was definitely that. Like prior coastal stops, it was another vortex of the trip, where we were sucked into days of beach lounging. Little did we know that the best part about Huanchaco wasn't the beach, but the seafood and fruit. Days consisted of little more than market, fruit, beach, fruit, ceviche, beach, seafood dinner, ocean sunset. Sprinkle in some Cusquena beers, order a slice of homemade apple pie, and you're good to go.
