At buffet breakfast Cassy had a spider crawling on her and a fried ant in her pancake, not a good start to the day. We began our day long safari at 7.30am and managed to see a topi (antelope), crownbird, two types of vulture, waterback deer, hammercone (bird that makes the largest nest in the world), ostrich, mara rooster, baboons, monkeys, sandsniper (bird), warthog, three lioness', two families of elephants and many of the animals we saw yesterday. Before lunch we used the washroom of a very posh hotel, then went and had a packed lunch at the Mara River. The river was 270km long and we saw hippos, mongoose, velvet monkeys and crocodiles. On the way back to camp it started to rain, and as the grass was quite long it was difficult to spot animals. We tried to help one van as it was stuck in the mud, but the tow rope snapped.
