Having driven solidly for what has seemed like the last week, I made it to Denver in time to pick up visitor number 2, Jules. I say in time, but, due to an inability to work out when the time zones out here change, I turned up at the airport a couple of hours early. That was fine though as the visibility outside was getting down to silly levels. Apparently, Denver has had record snow falls in the last couple of weeks and I was slap bang in the middle of it. It was all a laugh though. I mean, how important is it to be able to differentiate between the lanes on an interstate?

So, apart from a lot of driving, not much else has been going on. We're making the 700 mile trip to Las Vegas where, hopefully, the whether will be a bit kinder so driving is still very much on the agenda. Great.

With this entry being so short, I thought I'd tell you about a dream I had the other night. I was playing hide and seek and I thought a good place to hide would be inside a washing machine. It was a good place to hide because nobody found me but I also got stuck and couldn't get out. After struggling for some time, I woke up and got some breakfast. Admittedly, this isn't the best dream ever. It's not even the best story about a dream ever. And, as you've become accustomed to, this certainly isn't the best blog ever, but it has filled a few lines so, job done.

Thought of the Day

Why must I pre-pay for petrol, where's the trust?

For reference

The washing machine was a 'Maytag', with steam-care technology
Denver airport is rubbish
