After a lazy morning and a chat to Lou I took a nice easy stroll though China Town to pier 39 for a morning look at the Sea Lions gathered on the pier.

Next to the pier I brought tickets for an Alcatraz tour the following day, a result as everyone at the hostel said they might be sold out.

I then decided to rather then take the bus walk down the beech front to the Golden Gate Bridge. I wondered if this was a good idea as fog was all over the city. The weather here is very bizarre. It fairly warm, but windy and within 10mins fog can decend over the city. Strange when you see the sky scrapers disappear in the fog.

As I got closer to the bridge the mist started passing, i also meet a Norweigen couple I'd meet in the hostel the night before.

We had lunch together over looking the Bridge then walked over the bridge to the North Bank.

San Francisco is a stunning city and reminds me of somewhere in Europe. They drive european cars and they is less police then in other cities. Although they do have the trams, which are great
