Let's see. Buddhist school takes trip in Amish country and the next day we get rain. Coincidence?
It's rainy and cold as visited Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. We learned a lot and the guides were good, except for that on guard who was checking tickets before entering Independence Hall. He was very strict about how to hold the ticket for some reason.
We visited the site of Benjamin Franklin's house but were too early for the exhibit. Betsy Ross' house was next. Besides making the flag, she folded the cloth a certain way so it only to one straight cut to make the stars for the flag. I was impressed.
Lunch was next and most of us experienced the Cheese Steak sandwich. It was a taste sensation but I could hear my arteries hardening with every bit.
