Woke up at Megan's house around 9ish.  Megan is a pledge sister of mine from college.  We rushed and pledged together.  It's funny how we've both aged, still have similar interests and have kept in touch.  She ran the Inaugural Atlanta Half Marathon with me this past March, and we hope to run the Austin Marathon or Half next February.  It's good to have friends that keep you healthy.

I made plans for Renee and I to meet my old roommate Regina and her husband Tom at a popular Tex/Mex restaurant in SOCO - Gueros.  Apparently that's the trendy area in Austin.  I have to say, I really liked Austin and could see living there if I had to make a move.  Very cute city!  Regina was due to have their little girl the following Friday.  They were tossing the names McKenna and Keara, but Thursday came and little Keara made her way into the world.  Many congratulations to them.  There's no doubt they'll be wonderful parents!  I just can't wait to hold her.

Lunch was wonderful and the sightseeing equally exciting.  We shopped a bit...  Made plans to eat dinner with Megan and her little tike - Kyler.  She made us a few appetizers she made often when she lived in Costa Rica a few years.  I would have thought I was at a restaurant if I didn't know better.  It was soooo yummy!  Dinner conversation consisted of our running next year and swapping dating stories.  Those stories never seem to end!

We said goodnight relatively early since we planned on taking our route through New Orleans, LA before heading to my Stepmom and Dad's house in Florida (my Dad is in Dubai currently).

It was such a blessing and delight to see my friends.  They are good people and it makes me proud to call them friends!
