For some odd reason, they decided to put my days off back to back again, which means I'll go 10 days before another day off.  What are you going to do?

So, I woke up this morning thinking it must be 9:30-10 a.m., but it was actually just before 7 a.m.  I suppose my body is getting use to the early hours.  I put on my jumpsuit and headed to the staff room for some Frosted Shredded Wheat.  That's become my staple in the mornings - mmmm!  Filled up my bowl and went back to the house to read a bit.  Finished a couple chapters and then checked out again.  There's nothing like going back to bed!

Woke up, read some more and then put on my jeans and boots to go riding.  They put me on a horse named "Red".  I think that's a pretty good omen since this upcoming weekend is the first Georgia game.  I have to say though, my horse was a little slow...  Maybe that's not such a good omen!  ;O)  My friend Jason made me a disc with a bunch of songs that talk about Georgia and it has our Alma Mater and such on there...  I told the chefs that they could rest assured that I would bring it in Friday to play for them.  I know they're just soooo ecstatic and can't wait!

Back to my day...  After my ride, I went hiking towards Hinman Lake again.  Michele and I had hiked it the other day.  Great exercise and a beautiful view!  A lot of the hike is up hill, so you can imagine...

Once back, I took a shower and headed into town with Lee, Andy, Leslie and Kim.  We joined a few other folks at the Tap House.  It's 33 cents per wing on Tuesdays.  I was the odd ball that got a garden burger...  Imagine that?!  I did have a pretty good beer though - it was called Easy Street.  How can you go wrong with a beer named Easy Street?

That brings us to now...  I'm going to close up the computer and read a bit more.  I brought out approximately 15 books and bought one, yet I've only finished one of them.  Too much to do...

Hope you're having a good night.

Giddy up,

Heather
