I went to Matsushima.
It's one of Japan's three views.
I went to Miyajima (O-Torii) last year, and Matsushima this year.
Only Amanohashidate left! I hope I can visit Kyoto next year around autumn.
In Matsushima, I took the boat trip to take a closer look of the pine islands.
I saw the boat next to ours, and wondering why there were so many birds following it.
It happens that the birds were flying around it because the passengers were throwing food / snack.
I was regretting why I didn't know about this beforehand.
Playing with the birds look so fun!
And then, the middle-aged couple whom I helped taking photos just a few minutes ago came with several bags of snacks, and started throwing the snack.
In no time there were so many seagulls following our boats XDDDD

When the boat trip was almost done, the uncle still have 2 bags with him.
The couple said that they wouldn't be able to use all of them so he gave one of bag to us XD
So in the end we got to play with the birds too without paying for snacks (I also ate a few.... XD)
Because of the birds' fault, we completely forgot about enjoying the scenery of the islands xD
All my photos have birds on them!!! *_*
When I showed these photos to a friend, she said she also went there and tried to feed the birds as well.
However, she got bitten by the hungry birds who came for her hand which was full of snacks XD
I was so glad the seagulls didn't bit me...

Other than the boat trip, I also took a short walk around the town.
There were a lot of tasty food stalls!!!
My most favorite one was "gyutan" (Beef tounge).
It's a speciality of Miyagi's capital Sendai. It's a bit expensive than normal beef, but it was very delicious.
I also bought souvenirs for my friends.
One of the famous sweets from the area is "Hagi no Tsuki" (萩の月).
My friends were so happy receiving them. I think it must be quite famous around Japan.
There was also a temple called Zuiganji (瑞巌寺).
I think it's worth visiting while you're around.
