Yesterday, a young man named Alex came over for a visit, Bible study, and lunch. He stayed about five hours, and we are looking forward to spending more time with him. He helped us practice our Russian and we helped him with his English, most all the while discussing the Bible.
He thinks that some of the Bible is the truth and some of it is not. He is interested in religion generally and knows a little about the Bible, so we hope we have whet his appetite for more of the Truth. Please, keep him in your prayers.
Slava has visited us several times, including today on his lunch break. We enjoy his company, but sadly, he has to work so many hours, generally, that we don't see him often enough. He does not consider himself religious or to be interested much in the Bible, as he has not known it to be anything special. We are working on changing his mind on that :-) We've had some Bible studies with him and other types of visits also. Several times he has helped us by interpreting, as he did today with the doctor's instructions for us, how and when to take our medicine, etc. Please, keep Slava in your prayers as well.
