Well yes, for those of you who don't already know and haven't seen me, I am indeed back in the UK. It was a bit strange, as you can imagine, arriving back after being gone for almost 2 years, but it didn't take long for everything to become normal again.
I'm not exactly sure yet why I decided to come back, I just didn't seem too settled for my last few months in NZ, or in Australia and Malaysia. One thing I did know before I even got on the plane in KL, was that it was only a temporary stop back home to recharge my batteries, save some money and catch up with everyone, before heading off again.
There were a few things that were different, chip and pin was new to me, but they have it in New Zealand (took me a year to learn how to say it properly, EFTPOS - Electronic Fund Transfer at Point of Sale) chip and pin is much easier. I thought Vicky Pollard was actually female. Other than that not a lot has changed, a few more grey hairs and a little boy who was just a bump when I left. I've bumped into a few random people, hi Drew if you're reading this, say hi to Reta for me! I'm amazed at the number of people who have been following my travels, friends of friends and people I don't even know. Thanks to everyone for reading and hopefully now I'll be able to update a bit of what I've been getting up to since I've been back. I know a few of you have been asking what I'm up to and when I'm going to update again...
I promise I will update again very soon.....
