Today is the day of the outdoor concert & it rained all night & all morning. We went with the Heartlands team on their ministry to a slum village where some of the team shared. They are desperately poor & live in the smallest huts made of palm leaves & tin. Next we went to the maternity ward where we took in baby sleep packs we had bought at the markets earlier. We got to pray with many of the Mum's , some of who had lost their babies. The hospital is filthy & the walls have so much mould on them.

We went back to the Lazy Mekong Daze for lunch we they organised for us to hire bicycles for 3000 Riel .We followed the river road which turned into a muddy potholed dirt road through local villages & children calling out " hellooooo" They are so cute! My bike got a puncture so I grabbed a moto & Beau sat on it backwards holding my bike all the way back!!!! The noise of the puncture was so loud that it sounded like a gunshot.

We joined back up with the Heartlands team to take in food to the HIV Ward ( they go twice a week). It was so sad to see how desperately sick they were. We prayed for many people & then all put in to buy blankets at the markets as they were cold from all the rain. Everyone was moved by what they saw in the HIV & Maternity Ward & grateful for what we have in our country.

The outdoor concert in front of the church was starting at 6.30pm & the rain stopped a couple of hours before  & even some stars came out! Great concert & lots made a decision to follow Jesus. Afterwards their local musos played traditional Khmer music & we joined them in their local dancing. Could never master the hand movements but had a lot of fun trying!!!
