Woken up with cup of tea in bed. Went into little village of Holt with Uncle Phil and then had lunch. Drove past stacked bales of hay which had little lambs playing, jumping up and down and pushing each other off. Had lunch of pork pie and then went for afternoon drive to Fakenham and up to Little Walsingham to see Our Lady's shrine. Lovely little villages and all flint-stone houses. Drove to Wells-next-the Sea and Stiffley to Blakeney where there was a lovely flint church. At Cley-next-the-Sea there was a windmill and lovely pond with ducks, geese and swans whose antics gave us much amusement. We drove through Weybourne to Kelting Heath where we went for a walk. Lots of heather and spiky gorse with yellow flowers. Drove back through Holt to Sharrington.
