Well, we saw a lot of cool things at Custer today...we saw deer in various forms to start..and then we saw a herd of buffalo and they came very close to us!  They are amazing animals; we might have even seen one of the one-ton buffalos when we were leaving..and gues what he was doing?  Rolling around on his back like Trooper!  We had burros come right up and stick their heads in our windows for, and we saw a prairie dog spot; they were a little shy, but their "barking" was so cute!
We did a small hike, rented three-wheel terrain bikes at the campground, and finished the night by going to Mt. Rushmore to watch the ceremonial lighting of the mountain; it was very moving.

HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY JACK!!!!! What a way to spend your birthday...traveling around and adventuring all day! Miss ya tons and I can't wait for you to come over so you and Jon can break in your new Mario Galaxy 2 game. (Jon's been practicing while you've been gone so you may have some tough competition)
