Hey everyone, I know, its been awhile since I've written an entry and after a few "have you dropped off the face of the earth?" emails/comments, I thought I had better write one to confirm that no, we have not. We have just been really busy. haha.

There's not much going on here tonight, we're just relaxing. I'm pretty sore from volleyball..We're now 2-0, so it's pretty exciting :) Our team has mixed talent so it makes it hard sometimes to get everyone on the same page, but things are DEFINITELY improving. We played Univ. of Strathcylde yesterday (its only a couple blocks from our campus) and afterwards we went to our team's sponsors, they have a pub/restaurant called WalkAbout and had free food :) It was nice but we had to wait an hour and a half for our food and in then end we were still starving so I met Ben outside the bus station and we went to Wetherspoons for a later Sunday dinner. It was so nice to be able to go to supper together because we don't have the chance to do that much anymore with me having volleyball on Sundays.

Classes are still going well, we've been busy with group meetings, etc. to work on our final assessments that are due in late November/early December. It's nice not having classes on Monday, it gives us a chance to recuperate.

Today since we had off, we went to the Museum of Modern Art off of George Square with Sinead and her sister. It wasn't quite what we expected but it was nice to do something different. Then, Ben and I walked down SauchieHall Street to try and find a jeweler that had ring clips because my ring is too big, but we didn't have much luck. All the ones they had were either too big or too small for my ring, so we had to tape my ring back up again, bummer. I'll be glad when I can get it resized because I'm so paranoid of losing it.

We experienced our first few football games the past two weekends. It was quite an experience. The first weekend we watched Scotland vs. Georgia (the country) at this old little bar called " The Ingram Bar" and Scotland won. It was so neat. Everyone was singing and clapping and it was such a great atmosphere, the whole city was alive. The men were in their kilts, what a sight to see. I'm just glad that we didn't get "mooned" as they are VERY famous for doing that when they are in their kilts. haha. Saturday was the famous "Old Firm" game--Rangers vs. Celtics. We ended up going to this pub called Oneills and I'm sure by the name you can guess that it was a Celtic pub. We had to stand and it was SOO crowded. There was a bouncer and only a few people entered after we did because it reached its max. capacity. It was crazy. People were yelling and screaming, it was a little overwhelming especially when we were with a Rangers fan and he was holding back from cheering because he was definitely the minority. Ben and I ended up leaving a little into the 2nd half because it was too much. The Rangers won though 3-0. :)

Mom has sent in our engagment announcement to the Public Opinion so we're looking for that to be in maybe this week. It will be in the Living Section of Saturday's paper whenever it is published. It will also be on http://www.publicopiniononline.com  under Celebrations for 30 days. I'll try to update and let you know whenever we find out for sure.

A little while ago, Ben and I found this site called Myheritage.com and if you upload a picture it will tell you what celebrities you look like...Ben's comparisons made us (well mostly Me) laugh a lot...Out of the 10 celebrities only 3 of them were guys. He doesn't think its very accurate. haha.

Other than that, there's not much going on. We're staying busy. We miss everyone a bunch and can't wait to see you in December--its not that long away!! :o)

I hope it won't be as long til I write again, I'll try to improve on that.

Hope all is well with everyone,

Much love,
xoxo Holly & Ben
