Boarding the ship was easy now that we are Gold Members of the Crown and Anchor Club!!!!
Having lunch in the Windjammer Cafe was impossible - too many people!! Hope this is not a problem for the remainder of the cruise. Walked around the ship to discover where everything is - it is huge! 3,500 passengers and 2,000 crew!!!
Attended compulsory drill on deck while waiting for bags to arrive in our cabin. Cabin very comfortable - huge bed - cabin overlooks central Royal Promenade which is a street of shops and cafes!
Met up with Julia and Geoff for drinks in one of the many bars before going to dinner at 8pm. (They have 'My Time Dining' so can choose the time each day when they want to have dinner and are located in the dining room above us.) Our table of 8 is made up of 2 English couples and one Scottish couple
Meal was only average - wine a disaster - asked for 3 different ones from wine list - none of them were available! And it was day one of the cruise!
Went to after dinner show - very good - a comedian and singer.
