Because Stine is out of town when I visited my bro in Hamburg, I hop over to Berlin for a few days to see Silke, who is in the country. It's the first time ever that we meet in Germany. In the 11 or so years that we've known each other, we only ever hung out in Canada.

If you are looking for reports and pix of typical Berlin sights, I didn’t really do any of that. Instead, other than hanging out with Silke and some Chouchsurfers, I attended an alternative art tour, which was fabulous. To those who consider graffiti and street art to be no more than desecration, don’t bother with it. Otherwise, you MUST check out www.alternativeberlin.com They also have some other cool tours. ...Which I didn't do, mostly because I am lazy. But also because I didn't feel terribly well, still fighting a minor bug I seem to have brought as a souvenir from Mumbai.

I have not been to Berlin in about 16 years and am loving it as yet another city I can see myself retire in. Sorry Hamburg, but you'll have to get your sh&*%t together on the weather to compete.
