Well we managed to see everything we wanted to in Moscow, the Kremlin was great and St Basils Cathedral was really impressive, i could hae stood and looked at it all day!

We went out on Thursday night with Sean from our hostel to see the city at night and it looked amazing; the Red Sqaure was still quite busy but just nice, then walked along the Moskva River alongside the Kremiln. took us a while to get back to the hostel cos the metros stopped running at 1am but we managed to flag down what we think was a taxi! It was about 13 degrees at night so pretty nice.

We booked our night train to St Petersburg and we arrived here about 11am this morning (Saturday) the train took about 9 hours. Already you can tell that it is completely different to Moscow, it seems a much more relaxed pace of life than everyone rushing about. It also seems like the people are alot friendlier and make more of an effort with tourists. Got a couple of maps and we're here for four nights so off to explore the city.

Sean is arriving here on Monday and Hannah who we met at the Moscow hostel is living here so should be meeting up with them for a few drinks and to see the nightlife hopefully! Will keep you updated! I'm managing to get a few photos uploaded but am limited to how many to do at once, so might take a while!
