Well I decided to spend today just chilling out in Central Park, away from the rudeness and noise in downtown NY. It was defo a good decision; the weather was cold but sunny, and it was perfect for spending time in a park.
My main conclusions of Central park are that it is not as big as I had expected, but it was very chilled out and I would highly recommend it as a place to escape from the attitude of New York.
After a good few hours wandering around, it was time to head back to the shitty hostel and wait for the shuttle taxi to take me to the airport. The driver was a complete loon, she nearly killed us on a good few occasions, and gave out loads of abuse to loads of drivers... After about an hour and a half of terror, I was finally at JFK, and my last few hours overseas.
