very briefly... its our final day in Bali! I will miss this place for its friendly traveller vibe! Very relaxed and chilled out.

Walking throough Kuta beach, its sad to see many deserted/empty shopping complexes. Since the bombings occured, a lot of people have been put off coming here, and as a result has affected the locals who depend on tourism quite badly. but there are still the loyal surfers! But beyond the beach, there seems to be lots to do... not only in bali, but Indonesia itself! In hindsight, its such a shame that I opted for the 7day visa... could easily spend a few weeks here.

The weather has been really nice, its fair to say that I'm not quite sure what cold is anymore, although Mount Batur before sunrise was quite chilly!

Its also here that I think we've met the most ppl - this is prob attributed to the travelling scene here. people are so friendly!

we were in a cool restaurant last night, Ika something! and added our mark to the mass of graffiti that ppl have already left on the walls. last night i mustve collected about ten bites. at least 3 on my face, and three on each arm. I hate bugs. We had also a whole lot of ants living in our room. I think the dried mango was a huge attraction for them. Also ann's plum cake thing seemed to go down well!

Oh i don't think i've mentioned the phallic ornaments/souvenir stuff that you can buy here? they come in all different sizes, balls or no balls. and range from keyrings to bottle openers to ashtrays to smoking pipes?! its very amusing trust me!

the spa we went to yday was nice and relaxing, although my urge to pee half way through my face mask did reduce the relaxation slightly haha.

off to get some more treatments! balinese massage perhaps! and then off to the airport for KL...! again! will miss you being there Jamie baby :(

much love to y'all! til the next time xx
