Today I went out riding early (got my mandatory rain out of the way early!) -down to Fernandina Beach, up and down the A1A - right along the ocean. It was wonderful - I really miss the ocean - even if it IS on the wrong side of the street! te he he (So Cal. girl at heart here). Then went out with the family to Amelia Island (The self-proclames SHRIMP capitol of the area) and Fernandina Beach historic district - along the waterfront etc. It was fun wandering downtown thru all the little quaint shops. But this humidity is kicking my a**. Babysitting again tonight - hard to call it that since they are 8 and 10 now - especially since most of the time, it is just 'fight management' revolving around Wii. But they are good boys - I dont mind at all!!! One more day here before I head up to Atlanta to see relatives up there. I would pay CASH MONEY for a day without any rain..................... you dont really need my blog to know where I am - just check the weather channel - the biggest, blackest, ugliest weather area - that's where I am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
