How do you fancy downing a cup of cod liver oil? Making an arse of yourself trying to do press ups when you've quite blatantly got NO upper arm strength? How about landing face down whilst running with a bag of sand? Fun times... haha.

The Jamboree's theme was "On a Viking Trail", hence the "Viking Games". I mean, although I'm quite sure Vikings didn't compete for who could down cod liver oil the fastest, it was actually a good evening. Granted, Beth and I completely sucked at press ups and just gave up and cheated, but it was fun to watch everyone make idiots of themselves as we had done, hehe. It was a lovely atmosphere with everyone cheering on their groups though, and even other groups from their country. It is pretty ridiculous just how many UK Scouts and Guides there were at the Jamboree though! We even met a Scout from Holymoorside, which is practically down the road haha!

Human Fussball, taking place on another day, was an experience quite unlike any "sport" I've ever been "involved" with! Having spent hours on team games such as sack racing in sacks that were half the right size, human pyrmamid building and "tug of warring", and insisting against experiencing the thrill of crate stacking... we wandered up to give "Human Fussball" a go, which basically involved attaching ourselves to giant logs and sliding sideways and all over the place trying to kick the ball like plastic men, hahaha! It was great fun, but we did play some pretty rough people at one point! Mind you, I think I was digging in the dirt with a stick at this point... thrilling... lol.
