Marlen arrived on Wednesday - woohoo! It's ace having a friend to play with :) Before she arrived I went out with a load of people I work with on the jet boats. The guy who drives the boat part owns a catamaran so he took a load of us out on an evening cruise. He picked us up at 7pm Aussie time, i.e. 8.45pm real time, and took us along Darling harbour, under the bridge, past the opera house, Luna Park and towards Watson`s Bay. The boat was fab and the company ace. Add to that a few beers and some good tune and you have yourself a quaity time! :D

On Thursday Marlen and I caught the train out to Bondi and walked the costal path from Bondi to Coogee. It was a perfect day for a walk, sun on your face and a fresh ocean breeze. The scenery was beautiful, with each corner turned bringing a sight more beautiful than the last.

Friday I worked on the jet boats, which was ace, back out next to the harbour bridge in the sunshine. Marlen met me from work and we were given a free ride on the jet boat. We returned soaked to the skin and giggling like kids - a fab end to a good day!

Saturday evening we went into town and sat in the Domain listening to a free concert given by the Sydney Orchestra, how cultured are we?! It was fabulous sitting out in the open air (wearing shorts....in January!) listening to amazing music played by REAL talent. Lovely! :)

Sunday I worked all day at the aquarium. I was my last shift there (woohoo!) so I went and took advantage of a free visit before I left. I took some ace pics of GIANT crabs, colourful fish, aweome sharks and a sawfish with a comedy face! :D Check out the pics!
