Today was themed around time travel with 10 different activities around the camp with each themed in a different time period. In front of Tern Lodge Jess had built a time machine (a wigwam frame coated in tin foil) that the kids had to pass through on their way to each activity in order to be "transported" to the correct time for their activity!
The activities were:
Cave Man Slip and Slide down the archery field hill
70's Hippie bracelet making
60's beach party at the pool
Mummy races
Native American relay races
Future gadget making
1800's ship making
50's Greace themed musical chairs
and some more that I can't remember!!
In the evening I had my long night off with a few other members of staff so we all went out for pizza as it was Josh's birthday! I had possibly the most enormous pizza i've ever seen and only managed 2 slices of it and had to take the rest back to camp in a box to eat throughout the week!
After dinner we went to Ryan the video guys friend Billy's house which was just down the road from camp and chilled out there for a few hours before returning to camp for some well deserved sleep!
