Another beautiful day here, and the wind has calmed down a bit so it's really quite enjoyable. After breakfast, we hauled up the anchor to motor over to the fuel dock. On our way, we saw Hey Jude on their way out. Caleb called them up on the VHF to wish them a good journey, and they said where they were headed, they hope to catch up with us down the way, and that they'd left some things for us at the marina. Really nice people and it would be really cool to see them elsewhere.

We were happy the wind had died down as the fuel dock could have been a bit treacherous with a breeze issue - but seeing as it was very still, we were able to just pull in bow first like any other slip. We fueled up the boat and refilled our back-up jug - $90! We read that fuel could be 150% more expensive here; guess that was true! Oh well. All the more motivation to sail, sail, sail. We motored back over to our anchorage and got settled back into our spot, no problem.

We knew Jon was taking apart his engine today, so Pete and I came over to the marina with our computers, a bag of laundry, and shower stuff. Thus far they haven't needed any help, but now that Jon has the engine rigged to actually be taken off the boat, it looks Pete will be able to assist once the tide comes up a bit. And they have invited us to dinner this evening - it will certainly be a nice treat! You should check them out at http://ericson-36c-kasidah.blogspot.com/. Arline has a bunch of photos on there so it could be fun to look at (for our lack of tons of photos). In the meantime, I have managed to bombard you all with blog updates, we have a load of laundry all squared away, and Pete is clean shaven! I'm sure it looks like there is an animal pelt in the bathroom trash can...

Just enjoying some quick showers, hanging out in the sunshine, and getting in a little internet.  I believe we'll head south in the morning. Who knows when we'll see internet next - we'll do our best!
