So Kyoto would have been unbelevable but i had only a day and a half there and it torrential rained one day, which meant that there was no way i could go out, it was a maasive downpour and it was no suprise considering the hot weather

My First Day
I dropped off my bags and went to a temple called Jizo in, it was a cute little templewith a small moss garden. It is known as the poor mans Sahio Ji. I was plaaning to go there but you need to bood\k a place in advance which takes over a week by post, who is that organised. It was actally better i went to the smaller temple as it was less touristy and gave me time to chill out and sit back without all the comotion

I was then planning to head back to the hoste but on my way back on the bus i saw so a little touristy place with a beautiful river and a nice back drop. I decided to therefore get off early, it was a good idea as it gave me a chance to see a little more of kyoto considering it rained the next day

Second Day
Rain and lots of it

Hostel
It was excelleent, it had everything you nedded and some fun people too. It was Sunday but wwe decided to head out and we ended up a Japenese rasta bar called "rub a dub". It was the size of a box but we did have a good time. It was then off to Sam and Daves, it had a pretty decent turn out for a sunday and we were ther till the early hours, unfortunately as i had lent my keys to my dorm to Steve and Trevor, I was left locked out of my room. So yep it always happens to me i am having to pound on the door to get into our room, unfortunatelty waking a few people up ;)

cant seem to upload picures, on this pc, will try later hopefully
