Where I stayed
So the detour from Helsinki to Old town Tallinn in Estonia was definetley the right idea, it is maybe small but is has an awful lot of character, I would have liked a couple more days there
Old Town - Tallinn
The old town itself is a small town which you can walk in less then a hour. It's architecture still resembles its tradition and looks fantastic for it. The Old town looks like it is fenced in its own little castle and lools like it is from the medieval times. The only bad point was the number of tourists.
The Funky Bike Tour
I went on a bike tour with Janneke(hostel buddy) and being a clumsy git with no balance, it was definetley interesting. It was nice to get some fresh air in the lungs and was good to see the old prison which had been closed down only three years ago due to its poor state and that is putting it nicely. Our guides name was Harry Tits(Classic), he was a bit of a grumpy git but was funny with it. He informed us on how the estonians were treated by the russians in the past and it was definetley eye opening
Hostel with no name
Yep that is the name of the hostel i stayed and it as fantastic, it may be a little cramped but the atmosphere of the place more then makes up for it. Larry the owner is hilarious and the hostel feels more like a home where you can relax. The decor in the living room is cool and artistic, better then the drab white i am use to in most hostels. The people were amazing and everyone seem to get on well. There was always something happening whether it be Larry playing his guitar, Akki palying the flute or a game of Uno - which four dutch girls taught me to play
We went on a cool night out where we met Harry Tits(bike tour guide), he recommended this place where an estonian singer and a english guitar player were doing a gig, they were really good. We then went to a cool party afterwards and i got home at 5am, having to be up at 8am to make sure i catch the ferry to helsinki for my flight to Tokyo, so wasnt feeling the best
Well thats is me done, will update you about Japan, so goodnight or afternoon for you guys
Will update with pictures later, problem with doing it at hostel
